Artificial green wall cost per sq ft in Bangalore: what decides the price

Artificial green walls are priced per square foot. Here is the typical price range, what pushes a quote up or down, and how to estimate the budget for your own wall.

Dense artificial green wall foliage panel

An artificial green wall is one of the quickest ways to make a plain wall feel alive, whether it's a balcony, an office reception or a restaurant interior. The first question almost everyone asks is the price, so here is how it works.

The typical price range

At Afloraa, artificial green wall panels typically cost ₹300 to ₹650 per square foot. Where your wall falls in that range depends mainly on how dense the foliage is and where the wall is going.

A final quote always follows a photo of the space, because the wall's shape and how much sun it gets change what we'd recommend.

What changes the price

1. Foliage density

This is the biggest factor. A lighter panel with a single leaf type sits at the lower end. A dense, layered panel that mixes leaf shapes, textures and shades costs more, but looks far more natural up close, which matters for a reception wall people stand next to.

2. Indoor or outdoor

Walls on open balconies, terraces or building facades need UV-stable foliage so the green doesn't fade in the sun. Indoor walls under artificial light have more options.

3. Size and shape of the wall

Price is per square foot, so a bigger wall costs more in total. Walls with columns, windows, curves or awkward cut-outs take more work to fit than a simple rectangle.

4. Logos and custom designs

Many offices want a company logo set into the green wall for reception branding. Custom designs like this are quoted separately. See custom green wall design for examples of what's possible.

5. Installation

Panels clip onto a frame, grill or existing surface, so no cementing is needed. Afloraa installs on site within Bengaluru and ships panels Pan India for projects elsewhere. Ask whether installation is included when you compare quotes from different suppliers, since not every quote includes it.

How to estimate your budget

Measure the wall's width and height in feet and multiply them to get the area.

Example: a balcony wall 10 ft wide and 8 ft high is 80 sq ft. At ₹300 to ₹650 per sq ft, the panels would come to roughly ₹24,000 to ₹52,000, depending on the density you choose.

This is only a starting estimate for the panels. Your final quote depends on the points above.

Green wall or vertical garden?

People often use the two names for the same thing, but there is a difference:

  • A green wall is usually a dense foliage panel fixed flat against a wall or facade. Clean and uniform.
  • A vertical garden layers different plant types and textures for a more natural, garden-like look. Popular for balconies and compound walls.

Both are priced per square foot. Browse green walls and vertical gardens to see the difference.

Is an artificial green wall worth it?

A living green wall needs irrigation, drainage, the right light and regular maintenance. An artificial wall needs an occasional dusting. For offices, cafes, rented homes and shaded walls where living plants would struggle, artificial is usually the more practical choice.

Getting an accurate quote

Send a photo of the wall with rough measurements on WhatsApp, and mention whether it's indoors or outdoors. You can also visit our workshop in Banashankari, Bangalore to see and feel the panel densities in person before deciding.
